Meghan's father has suffered a major stroke and is receiving emergency treatment in an American hospital  just days before he is to fly to England for the Jubilee (he wasn't invited but is determined to go). He has list the ability to speak (for now).

This certainly brings back memories of his heart attack right before H,&M's wedding!

@Pearlee  Lots of things I don't believe lately & his health issues are up there on my don't believe at all list.  I do not believe he had a heart attack 4 years ago & don't believe he just had a stroke.

I hope he receives appropriate medical care, recovers,recuperation , and engages in self-reflection.  Lots of rehabilitation will be needed to regain speech,  mobility, and so on.

I simply can't imagine having a Father like this one. Thank goodness she has her mother who seems to be a very good and supportive person in her life.

True...   I can understand how divorce might cause a split or emotional distance between a father and child.  By all accounts he was a good father to her when she was young.  I cannot understand how a father could do such hurtful and destructive things to daughter.  Especially a daughter who married into the royal family.  What type of man would decide to do the things he did?  Even if I hated my child, I would never have behaved as he did.  Yes, Meghan was blessed with wonderful mother.

What kind of daughter tells so many lies that can be so easily proved untrue, including that her father didn't pay for her education, which he did. What kind of daughter would do that? Oh, Princess Pinocchio aka the Duchess of Sussex.

When is the last time you saw a picture or read a story about Meghan's mom ?  I think her dad is a grifter looking to make a quick buck harassing his daughter.
