Here in my part of Ohio, at the end of last week, the weather was dreadful.  Thursday and Friday were both rainy and very, very high winds.  We had high wind warnings both days.  As the day went on Friday, the temps were down into the low 40's and the wind was whipping.  Friday night we had snow mixed with rain.

Saturday was sunny and low 50's.  Yesterday was nearly 70 and we are expecting low to mid-60's and sun for much of this week again.  I was sitting on my back deck yesterday morning drinking a cup of coffee!

I was driving to the grocery store, sun-roof opened, window down and It's Beginning to Look like Christmas came on the radio.  I was thinking "no it's not."  LOL  I just couldn't do it.  I had to change the channel.  I couldn't bring myself to listen to holiday music when it's warm out.  Maybe because I'm not used to this but I don't know how people in warm weather climates do it.  I'm used to cold by this time of the year and I need it to get into the holiday spirit!

The weather is crazy here too.  At the moment it's 65 and gloriously sunny.  Tomorrow the high may hit 50. The rest of the week will be back to the 60's.  As we have not had a hard freeze, the poor flowers are confused.  Many are still blooming profusely.

I'll take the warmer anytime  as we know what winter brings. Enjoy while you can.

Agree it had been crazy.  I would happily delay my Holiday spirit for a week or two if we could keep todays weather for awhile.

Today it's 28 degrees and rain/snow mix, will turn to snow later today. I had a bunch of beautiful volunteer petunias come up in our patio bricks and they just keep on blooming. Love them but the snow will soon come. Yes, I talk to them/

@Mama Mia, I have some of those volunteer petunias too. (along with various volunteer blooms)

Today is gorgeous here but truthfully, I would not mind some pretty snow. (you can keep the rain mix)

I hope you are well!Heart

I know the weather is the weather and I know we are more than likely going to be in for it.  And in February, I'll admit I'll be complaining about how cold, miserable and ugly it is.  LOL

I just don't remember in recent years our weather being so fickle.  Usually it gets cold and we might have 1 day where it gets decent but we get 2 bad days and then a string of warm, sunny days.  That is pretty unheard of around her.  I don't remember ever sitting on my back deck on November 15 in a t-shirt and crop pants, drinking my coffee.

Someone posted a photo on FB sharing a memory from a year ago today. There was enough snow here that her kids had built a good sized snowman.

You're a day behind our weather here in Chicago. Today started out sunny and pretty nice. It's starting to rain and there is a chill in the air. I heard we might get rain/snow by the end of the week. Ackkkkkk
