Ordered an item from HSN. Got a notification that it had shipped. Went and checked shipping status this morning and found this...

So tell me, how could it get all the way to the Dayton hub (which would be the hub it gets delivered to me from) at 7:44 am on the 14th, but then be in transit to Piney Flats TN at 8:26 am on the 14th?

@Buck-i-Nana Sounds like the travels of some of my packages. Please post back when you receive it. Something is wrong with that tracking or that package is traveling around and around.

I hear you.... I'm watching tracking on packages daily. All I can say is that the postal employee that actually scan the item doesn't do it prescisely when it should be done.... sometimes they forget or does it later or not at all...... drives me crazy too....

It's a mystery .....

Not that long ago, I ordered an item from QVC and shipping to me here in Los Angeles usually takes 3-5 days.

For some odd reason, my package spent a few days loitering in Boston. Go figure.

Piney Flats, TN must be hijacking HSN shipments. I'd march on the town if I didn't get my package in a day or two. How dare they!

I hope it reverses course and shows up soon. Could be the computer is just messing with you too. Those of us in customer service do that once in awhile to brighten our days.

The accuracy of any USPS tracking entries (when they bother to make them, which they usually don't) is zilch, a joke. UPS has been far more accurate/timely, for me. I haven't, that I'm aware of, had a ziggy zaggy package (knock wood) but I'm sure it happens. Weird. Maybe some employees just put packages on the wrong truck, i.e. a sorting issue - then it's found out and sent on its (proper) way?

I had a Q package, shipped UPS recently that went on quite a journey as well. Took over two weeks to get my items.

Guess there are bound to be 'mistakes' and missteps in such massive shipping companies. It is never fun when it is your package, though! Hope it comes through for you without much more delay.
