I think "nap" or "quiet" time is good for children, especially if they need to get up extra early to get dropped off at daycare before school or whatever.

My son is a high school senior and regularly enjoys a 20 minute nap after school.

When my son was little I told him it was time for his nap and he said, 'Are you going to watch All Your  Children?'
