I ordered something that was shipped on the 25th but is still not here - not even in Fl. yet but I ordered something else that shipped on the 28th and it is already in my town at the PO.

Not to mention an item I ordered before Christmas that never came & QVC replaced it, that is still in Jacksonville getting scanned repeatedly arriving & departing facility.

I had a similar thing happen to me on Amazon recently. My niece works at an Amazon in CA, and I asked her about it. She said that big companies like that have different fulfillment centers throughout the U.S. Clothing might come from one center, cosmetics from another, tools from a different one so something ordered later might arrive earlier if it comes from a closer fulfillment center.

Don't know why your item in Jacksonville is repeatedly getting scanned as arriving and departing though. However, I have received packages that took a round trip around the U.S. before they finally arrived here.

I sent some important papers to my son away at college -- a 4 hour drive from our home.  I think it took like 10 days.  Tracking it through the post office, it went back and forth twice between two big cities before it was delivered.  The address was correct.  My local post office was no help as far as finding out what was going on.  Sometimes the Post office just s*cks.

@151949

guess it's becoming the "norm" because on 1/13/18 I mailed a 14x14x14" box priority 3-4 mail it's now 1/29 and box still not delivered & no tracking available😡😡

Went again to PO spoke to Postmaster (package going from Tampa to Philadelphia) : they have no idea but give it another week!!!  Bad weather ....yet, no refund for priority fees!!!

😱😡

Same thing is happening to me. Some packages get here so quickly and others never do. I got a refund for one package that never arrived. There was no tracking available. Another one has been 2 hours from my home for 10 days, just sitting there.

Re: This just confuses me

I ordered something before Christmas that is still sitting in the local UPS office being scanned periodically.  I have never received it. UPS service has deteriorated recently, at least locally.

QVC refunded the money to me, so no complaint there.

In general: Way too many employees being 'distracted'?   Allegedly.  Some people just aren't as conscientious as they could be/should be.

I can honestly say that I’ve never had a package go all over the place geographically with zig-zag shipping.  I just haven’t. The PO has lost a couple of packages in 45 years, but that wasn’t necessarily due to zig-zagging. Other than that, I’ve personally had more package issues with UPS (and them bold-faced lying) than USPS as far as delivery. Not that I love the PO, as I’ve had other issues with them.

@ROMARY- That's not fair.  Most items don't ship from the same facility.
