Oh what a great day this has been!

First and best, my sister's new bed was just delivered. For a while her back has been really bothering her, a lot, and we finally realized it was the old mattress and box spring. Sears had a sale on these items starting the day after Christmas and we were first ones in line. I'm so please she found one she liked and got it at a great sale price! It was just delivered and she's having so much fun making it up, with the cats "helping" her and so on. What fun!

Second, my doctor and I worked out a compromise on the CT scan with contrast situation; I'll have it done without the contrast and hope that it comes out ok. If not, he has other tricks in his bag that don't involve me swallowing the contrast liquid. It's SO nasty, I couldn't stop gagging.

So, my dear sis will finally start getting good, healthy, comfortable sleep and I will, in all likelihood, find out that there's absolutely nothing wrong with all that "stuff" in my midsection. It's a great way to start off the year.
