Re: This is ONE place I surely won't be going -- (FL full open Thursday)

Maybe the casinos should just open up a website and have online gambling. Not sure if that is legal though. It would have a definite disadvantage to customers though as I don't see any safeguard to prevent someone from using up their life savings.  At least at an ATM, there are fees and then a daily limit. If your underage kid got a hold of your bank card gee what then?  But at least you won't get covid.

Actually I think they already have online gambling here & other states.  Certainly not something I'd do but many must because it's pretty lucrative in most states for revenue.

As for people spending "life" savings not my business!  And underage kid getting your ATM I'm not sure anywhere your cc are safe plus I have no idea about fees, etc.

Seems COVID is the last thing on peoples minds who can't wait for casinos to open😉

We never go to casinos. Just not our thing, but we have gone to a few shows in Vegas, and the casinos are always packed and people are standing or walking shoulder-to-shoulder...even outside on the strip sometimes. We have also crossed Vegas off our list for now. Am concerned about Disneyworld though; DD and her family had a trip booked there that would have been next week. Disney has not canceled the reservations for the hotel, the park, or the dining plan . They only want to defer their reservations to a later date...or the prices will go up. Problem.

@lovesrecess

haven't heard anything about Disney parks opening as yet but the "rumor" has been only will be open to FL residents until October.

Disney Springs has opened maybe this is why they haven't cancelled certain parts of the vacation package.

It will be interesting to see how they do plan to open with all the guidelines.  Especially there honestly is no way to control peoples behaviors...this is certainly not a place I'd want to visit anytime soon and I still have days left on my pass.
