They say it is the air conditioning that spreads the virus and the air is on here in Arizona. There were lines to get into the casinos on the news and it did not look like social distancing was being observed. In my opinion it is still too soon. Not much of a risk taker.

CDC says it's not the air conditioner but the air flow. There was a restaurant in China that had transmission that they concluded came from the AC blowing the droplets in the air.
They also say the same thing could happen with a breeze in an outdoor cafe too if you are sitting next to a table with infected.
The likelihood, almost zero.

@homedecor1 I know we need the economy to rebound and I certainly hope it does.
As for casinos, restaurants, movie theaters, theme parks, department stores - those rebounds I'll be watching, but I don't anticiate using any of them for quite a while.
I do understand wanting all that normal - I just haven't seen one statistic, one health official who has convinced me normal is safe for the elderly - not even someone like me with controlled underlying medical conditions. I will be choosing my risks very carefully, very slowly.
I risked a fast AM visit to Publix so I can eat home for another 3 weeks - I don't eat out all that often even in normal times, so no restaurant will suffer all that much because I don't show up.

Oklahoma has reopened some casinos with strict guidelines but we are in no hurry to return until we hear the feedback.
Yes, I’ve read all patrons temperature will be taken. I’m all for it.
These are the times we are living in.

I won't be going anywhere there are large gatherings or crowds until a vaccine is made for the masses.

Interesting everyone must get temperature taken upon entering, wear mask, sanitize hands prior to playing slots (?) and limited areas at the gaming tables.
Just my observations: We've gone mostly during the day & senior citizens seem to be the most people in there. I seriously wonder how many people did "isolate" & how they will control the crowds for social distancing. Plus, smokers everywhere how are those smoking with a mask on🤷♀️.
I know they have non-smoking areas which we usually stay in but in order to go to any other area of casino one must walk thru smoking area.
This is one place we won't be going to anytime soon!
Just surprised how quickly things are getting back to "normal" because it was all about "phased" openings. Guess the businesses pushed for "full open" which is understandable from a financial perspective.
I just saw movie theaters, concert halls and many other places will open Thursday. I just talked to a friend and churches too.
I did do a haircut last week and they had very strict guidelines won't need this again for 7 weeks.
JMO For sure, it'll be interesting the next few weeks.
I agree... A friend were talking about these places that are opening very fast in my state too and some precautions thrown to the wind....
Is it really going to be worth it for movie theaters to open with social distancing and a limited audience, since theaters dont make their money on tickets, its more about concessions and what kind of revenue will only a limited number of people in the theater bring in...I wonder if most people will be more content to wait until it comes out on On Demand...
And my friend has an aunt that loves to play bingo where the proceeds go to a charity....but cannot imagine how that would work in a small building....
Nice to see sports---Nascar & golf...but will be interesting to see how the NFL and NBA handle this....they were talking about the NFL players having a mask in their helmet facemask ...seems like it would be hot and unable to breath....
Lots of questions---STAY TUNED!!!

Even in non smoking area it is awful you can't even at in som eplaces for te smoke. My hair, clothes all stunk. However, the room was non smoking . But I didn't go there to stay in my room 24 hours a day lol
I never liked that about vacationing in Vegas...I cant stand smoke....in fact when I was in the grocery store the other day there was a lady in a mobile cart in line....even though you cant smoke in the store, this woman just reeked of cigarette smoke I had to move to another line at the other end of the store..... My aunt was the only one in the family that smoked and sadly she died of lung cancer....nuff said.....

The casinos here were closed but have now opened, which did not make our governor happy. But there's no remedy because of tribal sovereignty. The line are long and many apparently have been counting the days waiting for their return.

yes, I forgot about the fact they are "tribal" owned and have their own rules and regulations.
Today, many ladies were talking about they are going over the weekend--good luck with that I told them. I bet it will be mobbed over the weekend...
I heard on the local news even our governor was "supposedly" surprised ... yea right that's why Seminole is the only casinos in FL ... FL gets a nice chunk of change from them since they have the monopoly!
