@NEvans2

And we haven't even got into August yet. This is when summer really shows you just how hot it can get. September really isn't any better in Northeast Texas.

Hello folks...well for those of you who do not experience high humidity, here it is!  I just came in from sitting out in the porch a bit ago and went upstairs.  This is what all my windows look like.  It's the humidity on the outside contrasting with the ac on the inside. And my ac runs at 73 - no bear cave in here.  This is not a filter - these are clear windows!   This is on the outside of the window.

It was in the 90's today and the humidity is now 100%- unreal.  My hair was actually damp.  However yes, I do love it.

It's the same way here in the midwest.  We've had record rainfall this summer and high temps. Today, we're expecting 114-120 heat index plus 90% humidity.

It never occurred to me that it was possible to actually "love" humidity.  I loathe it just keep thinking about autumn and winter.

I'm with you. It's dreadful. I tolerated it when I was younger, but not being a masochist, never enjoyed it. Bring on the fall, early, crisp, dry and lengthy, please.

As in 0 water molecules in the air? I didn't know that was possible. I bet it's not comfortable.

@monicakm.  I would not have even noticed had a meteorologist not mentioned it.

That is how our windows looked like yesterday morning and it had not been raining overnight.

The dew point is what I look at. Lately the Dew Points have been gross at 75-77.

 In my book anything over 50-55 dew point and it gets to be tropical.

Near Lake Tahoe

73 F  and dewpoint of 40 right now.  The humidity will drop below 20% this afternoon when it's about 80.

Extremely pleasant and very fine sleeping weather with the lows about 45 F.

thats generally what the meteorologists say @msgb .

dewpoints above 50 are hitting the noticeable humidity.

dewpoints below 50 are generally more tolerable.

i think @bmorechick is off the dewpoint charts. LOL
