i usually try and get all of the winter and xmas stamps every year. i dont preorder them, but prefer to buy them in my local post office.

thanks for sharing this @gidgetgh . if i remember correctly, the elves were one of my favorites when sneak peeks were released.

i think there is room for both religious themed AND whimsical themed holiday stamps and traditions/celebrations.

And I'm sure everyone is sitting on the edge of their seats wondering which stamp I'll be using this holiday season. Wonder no more.  I'm not going for the elves or the religious stamps. I will be using these.

@gidgetgh   The elves are cute, but the flowers are gorgeous!  I don't use stamps that often, but I will be buying several books of those.

Love the Elves. Will purchase them in September at the Post Office along with a few of the other stamps when they come out.  The holidays are what you make of them.  Be it a religious holiday or a gathering of family and friends to eat and exchange gifts. All are good.  I like it all.  The decorations, music, shopping, baking, eating, chopping down the tree, volunteering, donating, gathering of family and friends and the birth too.

If all people think and see of the holidays are "too commercial", then that is on them.  I've  said it before, it is what you make of it.

@gidgetgh  I prefer the floral stamps. So pretty. They would still be appropriate to use through the rest of winter into spring.  I have used Santa Claus stamps in May because that was all I had on hand.
