I really feel so bad for the states in the path of Irene.......and then all that rain.

Here in Texas (central) we hit the record of 71 days of 100 plus temps......it has not been cool since mid-May..........and then no rain. I wish we could get some of their rain and spare them all that flooding.

All I've done this summer is get up real early, do my chores and get back home by noon and sit out the heat. I wish for the days of winter.........

So, I did an experiment......I hung out my wash......2 minutes and the sheets were dry and 7 minutes 38 seconds for thick towels. Holy cow. How did those pioneer women do it and they wore long skirts. Everyone stay safe and/or cool.
