Thats Tyvek, its an isultation and it has been used for years on buildings and homes.

That's a vapor barrier that goes under new siding.

That's "Tyvek Building Wrap". It's an energy saving material. Helps to keep cold out in winter and cool air in in summer. We used it on a home we had built 30 years +or- ago. Few builders had heard of it or used it.

Is it the Tyvek you wondering about? It is a weather barrier that protects the insulation, keeps air out, drafts, and also moisture from accumulating in the walls. It's commonly used in houses, too.
