@MamaWick  and Papa WIck I'm so sorry. I just read about Cricket now. Cricket always made me smile when you posted pictures of her. She was very well loved and you two gave her a wonderful life. Please take good care. Heart

I wanted to add to my previous post, the best memory I have of that horrible night when I knew for sure we made the right decision to have him die at home since we couldn't go in to be with him because of that dratted Covid even tho it took extra hours as he was bleeding internally from the tumor.  

 

When he was brought out on a gurney for us to take him home, he stood up and wagged his tail and was so happy to see us - we could see the relief on  his face that we were there.  He recognized us coming from a distance away. That is the memory of him I will never forget and knew his love for us.  Then he laid on the back seat with me and when we got him home, we put him in his bed and sat with him through the night he was only semi-concious but I know he knew we were there.
