Probably more than I can recall.  The ones I remember are "Time", "The Nation", and "Rolling Stone".

My mom really loved "Better Homes and Gardens." She used to pick up "Family Circle" and "Woman's Day" at the supermarket. She wasn't into fashion or beauty so when I was about 11 and started reading "Seventeen," "Glamour" and "Mademoiselle" she liked to read them too..

When I was married, 1963, we had a few magazines sent to our place. TV Guide was one. We only had 3 channels, but it was nice to be able to see what shows were on what night and time. Also had Life. DH cancelled that when it published photos of dead soldiers in Viet Nam. I got Vogue for years till I cancelled it because of some of the advertising they had. Better  Homes & Garden was also one. It was best when it was a larger publication. They downsized it and I stopped getting it. We don't get any these days, just the daily newspaper.

None, really.  But this was in the fifties and sixties, and I don't think subscriptions were so popular, although they did exist.

We always bought the TV guide in the supermarket, and sometimes the homemaking magazines, like Better homes and Good Housekeeping.  When I got into my teens I loved Glamour, Seventeen, etc.

My dad would always buy Newsweek, which he apparently preferred over Time.

I'll tell you, I was a loyal TV Guide purchaser until the format changed so drastically about 20 years ago.  It wasn't so much that the size changed from that neat little compact guide to a conventional size magazine, but the grids were a nightmare to follow, and just didn't seem to be user friendly at all.  I thought they really ruined a good thing there.
