I've lived in the same area for 35 years. The first few years I had tons of kids. Then there was less and less each year. 

 

Last year I saw very, very few kids in my neighborhood. So I'm thinking there will be few to none this year.

I think the question is whether communities will be allowing trick or treating given the current pandemic, and even if so whether parents will let their kids go out to collect candy. Not how many trick or treaters you get or don't get regularly.

Trick or Treaters have been on the decline around here but DECORTATING has been on the rise!  and I mean  some go ALL OUT!  Not gorey stuff either.

They'll have COVID-19 costumes.  Costumes with red spikes all over it.  People probably already thinking about it.
