I think I would start parking in my driveway with only a centimeter between my tail end and the street. Anyone blocking the car would be having to park almost in the middle of the street.
That as got to be the worst feeling in the world is walking out to start your day and not being able to use your car and it does not even have so much as a flat tire!! Sorry @Desertdi those people are incredibly rude.

This has been a PIA since I have lived in this house (30 years). It's not a thru street, and people used to make U-turns in my driveway to get back out. ONE of them hit my garage door.
Because of the "no parking", people also parked RIGHT IN MY FRONT YARD, smashing my garden, and leaving tire tracks. I had BOULDERS "planted" by the curb, and that stopped.
It's PITCH DARK (no streetlights), so I guess they "think" they can get away with it. di

(It's a fire zone, with no street parking.)
Is it possible to put a gate at the entrance of your driveway?

I dont think the HOA would allow it, and it wouldn't be practical. The road is on a hill and a curve. di

If I had to take a cab to work. I'd let the air out of their tires before I left.

The police read the plates. Some of these people were my NEIGHBORS, and other cars were from nowhere around here. di

I get so upset sometimes trying to go to the public library just down from one of our elementary schools. Those Mama's get in line very early and block both entrances on two different streets into the library. Your either stuck inside or cannot get in. Never again will I feel sorry for myself since once the school bell rings things move pretty quickly. You have my sympathies @Desertdi

People talking loudly on their cells on plane!!!. I learned that the callers sister and her husband are not getting along. But, he's a weird guy and she thinks it won't last long. I'm not kidding you.By the way, their names are Lucy and Aaron this is what she was yapping about on call before she got on plane. I also know the caller left her key, under pot by side door, near the trowel, but the key only opens back door. But be careful of the dog, she jumps. The pet sitter will take dog for walk, and feed hamster. TMIwe were all forced to hear to talk for about 30 mins.
