Re: Things I used to use, but now use. . .

The things that really stand out in my mind that I don't use anymore are wall, desk, and pocket calendars.

I used to have a large calendar on my desk at work and another at home. I wrote on the calendars all my appointments and important things to remember. I had pretty wall calendars in my home and classtoom too. I also carried a pocket size calendar in my purse with important dates and info.

I don't use any of those now.

I use the calendar App on my iPhone for all that info.

If I lose my phone, I'm in big trouble! 🥴😱

@wilma

Several years ago I worked with an RN who had a house full of kids and pets and each one had a very specific schedule.  I found a clever calendar that organized all the appointments, games, school functions, vet visits -- everything.

And I thought she could hang it somewhere in the house so everyone could see it and know where they were supposed to be.

I handed it to her at work and she laughed.  Said she didn't need it because her whole life was on her phone.  And then she regifted it right in front of me!

The next day she left her whole life on the bus.

Corded vacuum cleaners. Now use cordless vacuum for 3 floors of home

@Laura14   Can I assume that you pay for internet as well as a cable service?   Or do you subscribe to a streaming service?

I am trying to get my husband to cut the cord...been trying for a long time...there are several programs he feels he must be able to watch....therefore I would need at least two different streaming services to meet his wants.

@JeanLouiseFinch

Yes, Kerrygold!

I usually don't put anything in my tea but, when we buy heavy whipping cream for a recipe and there's plenty left in the bottle, it's always a nice addition. Woman LOL
