Things I am thankful for

[ Edited ]

2017 Things I am Thankful For

This past year has been on for the record books, I am thankful for the following, in no particular order

B’s is health, he is mobile, he has fully recovered from his infection and 3 surgeries, he will walk with a limp for the rest of his life but he is alive

My crazy Dad he will be 95 on 12/3. He is still around to drive me crazy

My Mom in spirit, she taught me how to cook, how to manage a meal and how to hopefully get it on the table hot and close to the same time

My health, there are days when everything hurts, but I try to get past it, I get up and get out of bed and move one, there are people counting on me

This crazy board we might not all agree, but it is here and it can fill the lonley day

Finally I am thankful for what I have, granted money is always nice but in the day and age there are others that are worse off, I always give to charity especially around this time of year

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

NOt sure I could have said it any better.

I'm thankful for all the people in my life and what they have given me of their time, love, attention, wisdom and guidance.

I'm thankful to be as healthy as I am. Some days can be a challenge when everything hurts, but I know there are many that would love to feel as good as I do.

I'm thankful for a healthy child (now an adult). I've seen the grief of loosing a child, and of very sick children and even when I am not happy with him or his path, I'm ever so thankful that he is well.

I'm thankful that I have my mom at 81, because I lost my dad when he was only 45. Most of my friends have lost their mothers, and I don't take a single day for granted that we wake up together and can share time.

I'm thankful for my husband's ability to work everyday to support us, and for the wonderful job he was blessed to get. It provides us with excellent health care and benefits that we never take for granted.

I'm grateful for being born in a country with such wealth and opportunity, and I'm more than privileged to give back in some ways for the blessings I've received.

Re: Things I am thankful for

I know I need to work on counting my blessings everyday. But one thing I know I am sure to be grateful for everyday is my Dog.  She loves me and I love her right back.  She is happy to see me when I get home.  She is there for me in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. She tells me when it is time to go to bed and time to get up.  She comes to me for protection when she is afraid of something.  She is a very good companion.  Yes, I have a family too, but my dog is the only one that never gives me any grief !!!

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. Margaret Mead

@dex

Such a beautiful post.

I will say my 2 children.  Thinking about my life before children and currently, it is a lot of work, but they are definitely worth it!
