@haddon9 wrote:I think the difference is, you are not just paying for the product here. The Q offers a presentation to see how an item fits usually on different types of bodies.
We are paying for the presentations which include a host, vendor and models. I for one appreciate that and it makes a huge difference to me rather than just seeing a photo or two of a product.
@haddon9 While this is true, I find it better to shop for clothes locally where I can try them on in the store and see how they look on me not on a model in a studio. Or if ordering from Macy's, Belk or Kohl's and I don't like the clothes I can return the items with no S&H.
I realize that some can't get out to shop so modeling the clothes helps these folks.

I totally, and unequivocally agree with you 100%! But I can see the naysayers are going to chime up on this one!! The OP has a right to state her opinion.

It seems like she's saying that the Q does not have good quality clothing. And, good quality can be found in many places...yes, for cheaper.

I know, right! When someone expresses their displeasure, they get kicked right down the stairs on here. 🧐

The real problem is how the responses are answered or addressed in here by some posters. Some posters are downright rude and condescending if they personally disagree with the post/poster. Why? Is it really necessary? And yet, it seems to fuel and give those few, hidden behind their keyboard, a sense of dominance over anyone elses opinion.
I believe other posters would like to comment on many subjects in here but avoid doing so because of being pounced on or made to feel unworthy of their opinion.
Yup, exactly! It gets ridiculous after a while. You kind of know in advance what's gonna happen, and by who. There are so many condescending and rude comments.

@PINKdogWOOD wrote:@PhillyGirl23 I agree and NO we're not having strokes over these prices (@chrystaltree) !!!!!!
You could make the same items for pennies on the dollar in fabric alone, $5.00 to $10.00 in fabric, a couple of seams and you're done. Yes I've sewn my own clothes through the years, these clothing items do not cost this much to make as they charge here ESPECIALLY when at least 90% are make in huge factories overseas made for $3-5.00 a piece.
And then certainly do not forget the cost of shipping & handling and tax. And then if the stuff doesn't fit or they sent you the wrong size or the wrong color or totally the wrong item, then you/we are stuck with spending another $7.00 to send the stuff back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now you're out $15 - $20 out of money all for nothing. And we're griped because we had to get the package back to either USPS or UPS - hassle!!!!!!!
Let's go back to shopping in Brick & Mortar and KEEP these folks in business and jobs. No s/h, no returns because you can look stuff over, see it, touch it, feel the fabric, TRY IT ON to see the fit. Pick a different size and/or color if you WANT TO. or just leave it all in the store and move along. It cost you nothing but a little fuel in your tank and it got you out of the house for an hour or so.
one comment you made is inaccurate. if you receive the wrong size, color, item, or it if is defective or damaged, you pay NOTHING for that item. you send it back on their dime and you are fully refunded. you can also call usps or ups for pickup right at your door if you are not out and about to drop it off somewhere.
i am a QVC shopper. if something is worth it FOR ME, i like it, i know the brand, and i think the value is there, i buy it. if something isnt worth it FOR ME i try to look for a comparable item and find it elsewhere (and that goes for anywhere i am shopping.) i like shopping online, especially if i can get rebates via the rebate sites and use coupon codes. i also shop local, on ebay, via fb, and from other stores online. i never put all my eggs in one basket in terms of needs, wants, splurges.

I agree that the OP's comments are over the top with anger, frustation, and personal attack (about Gary). I've said it before and I'll say it again: there always have been and always will be things I cannot afford. I don't think it's worth getting upset about prices; just look elsewhere. We all know there are lots of places to shop. My small city has very few shopping options, so QVC is great for me. I buy what I like and can afford.
Yes, these threads become tiresome. But when an OP posts a rage, don't be surprised when people respond in kind. Maybe it is just to stir the pot and see how people reply.

I would rather stab myself than shop in person.
