Re: They are stealing the Bliss lights

It seems like you can't put anything out. I went and bought pumpkins 2 or 3 times (really nice ones) and EVERY single time they were stolen. I guess I should have learned my lesson the first time.

Re: They are stealing the Bliss lights

We just had our third property theft in three years.  The first was a battery charger from a shed, and they had to break in, too.  The second was $300 worth of Christmas packages last year.  Now I have to sign for all things sent via UPS.

The third was..........our second trash can.  Did they pick it up because they thought we missed the payment?  When I called the next day, she said it's actually quite common.  I'm cleaning out the garage to keep them inside, and we're also getting video cameras--hidden and obvious.

When I first saw those Bliss lights, I thought they'd be an easy thing to steal.

Have never had that problem thank goodness. I decorate outside for every Holiday.

I live in an area where people will steal anything and everything if they think it can be pawned for dollars to buy drugs.  For several years I used an old flat Tupperware container in my mailbox to keep mail from getting wet and damp, but someone stole it.   Now I use a styrofoam container from the meat department, and it's never been touched.  I keep my outdoor decorating plain and simple; limited to my porch, and nothing too enticing.  Our property is fully lit at night, we have No Trespassing and Private Property signs posted, and we have dogs to alert us to any unwelcome visitors.  Last year, several young men were caught shooting the blow up Christmas decorations in several local neighborhoods.  There is no respect for others, and their property, but anyone stupid enough to walk on my property that is clearly posted, with the intent of stealing, should be prepared to get shot.

Oh my! That is terrible someone stole your Tupperware container! I have a problem with solicitors and think besides installing a security camera, I will put up the signs you have not to trespass.

This has been happening in our neighborhood. Theives then sell them on Craigslist or ebay.
