Atlanta weather forecasts include the entire state.  I have never seen that kind of nonsense in my life.  We are not Rhode Island.

 

I keep myself safe down here by my own simple rule. Snow I will drive in all day long.  Any bit of ice, I'm home. 

 

And I forecast conditions myself by going outside and rubbing my boot against the ground.  It's worked for the past 16 years.  No meteorology degree needed.

My family around Birmingham got plenty of unexpected snow today.  We mostly got rain; however, they said it is possible for some snow overnight.  

 

Not as fun if it does not snow me out of work!

The weatherman said we would get 1-2 inches. Then some weather people upgraded to up to 5 inches. But most continued to say 1-2 inches.

 

We got 7 inches.
