Re: They Upped Our Possible Snow Totals.

If big threat of snow/ice and losing power, I fill my deep stainless steel laundry sink with bags of ice to keep my essentials cold. Then don't have to open frig. or freezer. Foods there stay safe longer.

Re: They Upped Our Possible Snow Totals.

Morning all..I'm in NJ and on the borderline of 6-12" and 12-18" of snow.  Depends on which weather channel is on.  So, just hunkering down as I went to the grocery store yesterday.

Since the pandemic and because I'm an early riser anyway, I try to go grocery shopping early in the morning before many people start to come.   Yesterday, I was in the Shoprite at 6:45AM.  Not many cars when I got there, but more cars than when I usually go that same time on regular days; not snow predicted days.  It's so much less stressful going early.  Very few people there, able to get through aisles without people blocking the way, no waiting at the deli area to get waited on, and best of all no waiting in a line at the checkout.   Home and in the house by 8AM for my second cup of coffee..

Be safe friends... this storm looks like a doozie!

@ciao_bella We had NJ12 on a little while ago and he's all over the place, yes, no, maybe so.

@CelticCrafter I totally agree!  I've come to call them 'weather guessers'.  They seem to cover all the bases.
