I have small wrists so large watches don't look good on me. I would welcome some smaller watches.

I bought a watch with a large, round face and now I can tell what time it is without putting my glasses on. I like them!

I have some of the large watches, but am not wearing them as much anymore. I am wearing a much smaller watch (a very inexpensive Isaac Mizrahi) and I never take it off. I do use it to tell time, I never even think to look at my cell phone, as it's hardly ever in my hands.

Just to clarify, I don't carry my phone in my hands either. I have it in the cell phone pocket of my purse. I can slide it half way out of the pocket and look down to see the time just about as fast as I can turn my wrist up and move it closer to my face to see the time. And it is always accurate.

Well, I have more watches now than I ever did ...... years ago they ranged from miniscule-to-small and more about function.

These days, they are not only timepieces, but bracelets, as well.

Looking down at my watch is much easier than pulling my phone out of my purse to see what time it is ...... and I love the STYLE they now have! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I have a couple but I really prefer a watch face to be around 3/4"" and no bigger.

I'm still wearing the watch my DS bought for my birthday 20 years ago. It's not one of the mega ones but I do like them; just don't want to wear any other watch right now.

Some of the most expensive watches in the world continue to have large faces. I highly doubt that they will be out of style in my lifetime. Smile I think when a person makes a large investment in a timepiece, they are less likely to become obsolete.

I do think, though, that the younger generation use their cell phones frequently to tell time. I guess it is anyone's guess whether watches years from now will be worn.

It's nice to have a favorite or a standby. I have a lot of watches, getting a new Judith Ripka for Christmas this year, but my go-to watch is a QVC Gossip watch bought years ago. There were 5 watches for something like $25, different colors including black, red and purple. I grab the black all the time for things like running outside quickly and every time I go to have my hair done. If it gets spattered with hair color, it's no big loss.

I was never a fan of the oversized watch that some think makes them look slimmer. I would like to just try on one of Issac Mizrahi's watches as some of the colors look very nice but even those I consider oversized....not my taste. I've always liked the slender pretty watches.

Whether I like a large watch of not depends on the color, material, and general look. Some are fun and I've been enjoying the options by collecting a variety of sizes.
