There should be a deadline on bills.

I got a bill last week for something done in 2010. As far as I know this is the first bill I've gotten. Or more likely, I got an earlier one, paid it and forgot it.

If I had a check that was 16 months old, the bank wouldn't cash it.

A business should be efficient enough to get their bills out within six months of service...or they lose out!

IMO.
