Re: There is a Change in the Air

@monicakm
Moving in October and there is a fire there today nearby and a power outage.

I know I would dislike TX weather. 🤐

Re: There is a Change in the Air

115° here at the moment so there is no Autumn in sight for us, lol. However, I am happy that others are enjoying much cooler weather and I'm looking forward to October when our temps start to change as well! ❤️

Re: There is a Change in the Air

I don't think of 82 as transitional weather.    I'm in MA and while the hot summer heat is gone, it's by no means Fall or even close.  It was sunny and 75 yesterday, sunny and 80 today.  Really beautiful.  Not even sweater weather.  Classic September weather.  Even now after sunset , it's still 73.  Weather turns when we get get temps in the 60s.  In about a month.

Re: There is a Change in the Air

@monicakm  - I love Fall and already have my Fall decorations out.  Sept and Oct are the warmest months of the year for us in the Bay Area so we are pretty warm today.  I still feel the change in the air though - days aren't as long, nights cool down and FOOTBALL!  Wahoooo!

Re: There is a Change in the Air

Like @JudyL, I live in an area where September is our second hottest month after August and October can be hot or cool, so hard to know which we will experience.  We don't really have autumn as you experience it in the midwest and east, so I have to make do with decorating for autumn inside my house.

@JudyL

Does your daughter like watching football with you?

I was watching a real estate channel on YouTube last night and came across this chair in a New York City Apartment. I would love to have this in front of my TV. I doubt DH will see the need for such a thing but it never hurts to ask

Re: There is a Change in the Air

@monicakm  -No my DD doesn't watch football with me.  She likes football but rarely watches it.  That chair looks interesting - odd shape.  It'd be good if you have pets as there would be enough room for one person and a dog or cat.

Re: There is a Change in the Air

@monicakm  We are feeling it here in Nova Scotia.  I am still swimming daily but my long swims are over I think.  I love Fall too.  This winter we are heading to South Carolina for a month to break up the winter season.
