We think that Rocky must've 'lost' his mother to who knows what.

DH was in our driveway talking to a contractor when Rocky came running up and climbed up his pant leg to his shoulder and just stayed there.

We fed him some peanuts and squirrel food and put him in the tree next to our screened in deck with a feeder and that's where he lives now.

He still greets us every morning when we go out to say, 'Good Mornin' Rocky!'

That's a great story @KingstonsMom.  I'd love to see that!

I'm a master at mole control. All it requires is a hose and a shovel, but I probably shouldn't discuss that here, LOL!

@KingstonsMom  @SeaMaiden  Actually a cat and a dog working in tandem can accomplish the same thing.  Dog is the hose (digs!) and the cat crouches in the grass to be the shovel.  They cleared out yard every year when I was a kid.

@KingstonsMom  Just where do you live?   In paradise?

All I see is the occasional pigeon and another apartment building across the street.   Enjoy your neighborhood!

@KingstonsMom - It really is beautiful when you can look out and see such beautiful creatures, isn't it. We had an Egret stroll through our backyard not long ago and a Blue Heron that decided to spend a day.

There is also a large fountain in the back where we get to see a variety of birds bathing every morning and afternoon. The other morning I looked out, and perched on the bottom bowl was a red fox. OMG she was a beauty - got her drink and left.

Nice, we have deer and moose which are a pain in the rear. They eat everything.  We do have beautiful sunrises tho.
