It is the hardest but kindest thing we will ever do for our beloved pets. I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy.

I'm so sorry - just love your animal, hold him and tell him to run across the rainbow bridge to all the other animals in heaven.  I just went through this with my 16 1/2 year old dog in June - I still sit and cry I miss him so much.  Today I put up my christmas tree and cried through the process.  He loved the christmas tree.  They are so much a part of our families.
