I ordered a Centirgrade all weather coat in Green, it was on the Saturday morning show, on Sept 5, it shipped to me in NY more than a wee later and it shipped from California, I did not like the fit so I ordered a second one one size up. I ordered a black instead of the Green order placed on Monday 21, and guess what it will be delivered today.

Same item different color shipping from NY not Calif.

I find this a little puzzling

@I am still oxox I'd guess that the order goes into a common site and whichever warehouse has the size and color we order will be the one that fills that order.

@millieshops    Makes sense to me.  I don't find it puzzling at all.  For years, I've endured long shipping times from the East Coast.  Thank goodness they opened a warehouse in California.

Does it matter where it comes from?  Be happy you're getting it so soon.

I don't find it puzzling,   It's not unusual for clothing vendors to use different manufacturers.  One factory does on color or size range another does a different color or size range.

@chrystaltree

It is the same coat, there is no reason in the world packages should be shipped across the country when there is a warehouse 100 miles from me

Many items ship from the manufacturer, they don't come from QVC's warehouses.  That's not new, it's been that way for years and it's true of all shopping channels.  It's why some items take a long time to receive.
