The return of Stretch Armstrong

Had totally forgotten about that toy until I saw it recently on TV. I bought it for our boys years ago and to see it back really made me nostalgic. Did anyone else by this toy back in the day?

Re: The return of Stretch Armstrong

I'll tell my 31 year-old son. He may want to buy it for his 6 year-old son. Stretch Armstrong sure kept my son entertained in the car. When I found Stretch buried in the snow in the backyard, I transferred Stretch to the cylinder container in the garage.

My sons had a stretchy doll like that but that face doesn't look familiar.

Yes, I bought the toy for one of my nephews. The others already had "Stretch."

I'll have to tell my sister the toy is back. It was a huge favorite at her house.

Re: The return of Stretch Armstrong

I remember Stretch, brings back childhood memories playing with my friends. I didn't have one since I played with Barbies, but the neighbor boys did. They were really rough and would see how far they could pull Stretch, he got quite the workout. I can remember the younger brother wanted to know what made Stretch "stretchy" so he stabbed his with some scissors. All this gelatin-like goo started to ooze out....poor Stretch.

Re: The return of Stretch Armstrong

I remember Stretch Armstrong was under the Christmas tree for my youngest one year. He is now 38! And I recently saw a Pawn Star episode where someone brought one in.
