These are the Roloffs. I saw it coming. Amy was miserable in her marriage. She needs to find a new loving man who wants to experience life and have fun before she dies a lonely sad life with Matt. Matt can just keep building his fantasy world... that is all that makes the man happy....

Good grief! I was shocked reading the thread title. Now that I realize it was incorrect, I'm not too surprised.

Anyway, as to The Roloffs - Years ago I used to think that Amy was a bit of shrew. I was to realize that I was wrong and she did everything for her family. Matt, OTOH, is a selfish little prig who puts himself before everybody else and has no desire to see anything through the POV of any of them.

Amy tried for years to get it together with him, but he's just too pigheaded to care. Every single thing, from tiny to huge, is 'my way or the highway' with him.

Anyway, I don't wish him any ill-will and I wish Amy and the kids all the best. I wonder if their show will return with another season that goes through all this.
