People shed too. Shed skin cells, hair, etc.
You can twist it any way you want Yuban.
Sorry you feel so negatively about animals.

Did I miss something?
I didn't see anyone ""condemn"" H.H...
Just gave differing opinions...

You can say whatever you want - animals licking themselves does not equal clean in my house. I owned dogs almost my entire life and I know that those dog beds would be filthy and have to be washed every week - and I would not want that in MY bed. No one can tell me that a dog who has been outside rolling in Lord only knows what is clean.
As well - comments about the dog sprawled out across the bed while the owners are clinging to the edges - that is not a restful way to sleep.
Pets are animals - they are not furry little people, and do not need to be treated as if they are in order to be well cared for and loved. And to those who say the pet rules the house -- I would not consider that something to be proud of.In many cases apparently, the pet is smarter than the owner.

Okay. You are entitled to your opinion. Now could the rest of us have some fun talking about our pets in bed with us without the scolding?

Again..WHERE did anyone ""condemn"" your point of view?
Although I did a quick search to see you have NO problem condemning others for their opinions...

People spoil their children. I spoil my cats. And I'm happy that they are spoiled.

We have a big laugh at our house. Often Milo will start out in dd's bed. But then around 4:30 a.m. we will invariably hear her bedroom door open then shut with a slight bang. Then Milo shakes himself off and comes in bed with us. It's funny because it is always around the same time.
ETA: We will then sleepily say ""oops Milo got the boot again!""

If I had a dollar for every time my mother said....it's not what you said, it's the way you said it.....I'd be rich.
Just sayin.....

My "dirty" cat is sleeping NEXT TO his L.L. Bean "dog" bed, right now, LOL! I thought I placed it in a good spot, but it must be sunnier two inches away.
Oh! Don't you just love how they'll follow a sunbeam around the house just to get a bit more warmth?
The rescue organizations insisted that I have a cat bed ON EACH FLOOR of the house.
I got a big one from L.L. Bean, having Norman Rockwell visions of BOTH of them sleeping in it, and I got a smaller one for her. She has never slept in hers
, but occasionally they will take an afternoon nap (on a rotating basis) in the Bean one.
