It was 76 here in Indiana yesterday - had such fun working in the yard - woke up this morning COVERED in poison ivy - I get it every year. Had long sleeves and gloves on - it doesn't matter, if it is out there, it somehow finds me. My one eye is swollen shut this morning, down my arms, on my stomach - such fun! But my yard looks beautiful!

I have about 6" of snow this morning so I'm loving that. But it's supposed to get up into the 70s later this week, I believe. Not looking forward to that, either.
I love watching it snow, so that's going to be my morning. ![]()

Our yard does need some tending, but for the most part I welcome spring!

Oh no, Hoosier! It was 75 here in Ohio yesterday too........a beautiful Easter! I can't believe you already have poison ivy growing in Indiana.....you must be ahead of us here. Thankfully, I don't get it, because there is plenty of it that grows around here. I'm so sorry you have to take the bad with the good weather! (It's mid-forties and raining today!)

I think we're free of poison ivy, but let's not forget the pollen! Everything around us is yellow right now.

That sounds miserable! My husband was covered from head to toe with poison ivy last year. He had to go get a steroid shot for it. Hope yours goes away soon!

If you get it every year, have you considered getting the preventative shots? I got poison ivy one year all over both arms, my chest and neck, and one side of my face. I was SO miserable. Of course, I had to go to the Dr. for shots to heal it, but he suggested that I get a series of shots the next year before spring to prevent it. I did this for several years, but eventually quit them, but I haven't had any problem with poison ivy since.
