Have any of you seen the new (I think it’s new) commercial for Tiffany?  I’ve seen it twice since yesterday. 

A pop song (can’t remember the name) is playing and it keeps showing  different views of hands clasping and caressing.

It reminds me of an octopus. Gives me the willies. I don’t care for the commercial at all. Not that Tiffany probably cares about my opinion, LOL. 

Let the bashing begin. Yes, I know this isn’t the most excitng thread topic. Yes, I know I can get the remote and turn the channel. It’s a pretty short commercial thankfully.

Alicia K is talented I know, but the singing comes dangerously close to yodeling to my ears.

Not what I would associate with Tiffany.

Love this song by Alicia Keys. I don't notice the commercial because I'm too busy humming the song.

Okay, I am in the minority.  I hate this commercial.  It gets on my nerves so bad, I turn the channel. I mean I hate it.  I don't think I have watched it through to get the whole storyline, because that song drives me nuts. Reminds me of mariah carey doing vocal athletics, lol

It seems to be all about the volume and "vocal athletics" as you state.

I'm guessing this might be a generational thing for me.  I'm a fan of Astrid Gilberto, Nancy Wilson and the like, so....

I had to look it up online, as in this area we never see a Tiffany commercial that I've noticed. 

I love it. 

I've always loved the song, her voice, and the simplicity of the hands. A man, a woman, them together, and the baby hands, kind of  says it all. They are featuring/promoting wedding and engagement rings in this ad, and I think creating the feeling of people bonding together and creating a family. 

I think it's great.
