I just watched a segment on MSNBC where a psychologist/sociologist discussed findings of a research study on current high-school and college aged kids and their views on themselves and the workplace. Interestingly, this "Generation Me" has much higher self esteem than we did when we were growing up. That means they often rate themselves as above average when compared to others.
Have you noticed this? Do you agree or disagree?
I tend to agree -- parents these days and educators seem to emphasize inclusion and participation over grades.
