Rabbit Hash, Kentucky  has elected a new mayor. He is Wilbur, a French bulldog. Wilbur, a 6-month old French bulldog is owned by resident Amy Noland.. Rabbit Hash has never had a human mayor. In the 1990's Don Claire had the idea that electing an animal would be helpful for a fundraising event for the local historical society. The town has 500 residents and is on the National Register of Historic Places for its general store, built in the 1830's.

Wow , What a young, handsome, regal and intelligent fellow!  I'll bet he's well spoken too. Finally a candidate to be proud of and get behind! He's the best one I've seen in quite sometime.  Too bad he wasn't the 3rd party candidate in the nationwide election that just took place!  Who knows, maybe we can coax him into running in the future. 😊 🇺🇸
