No. It's been in place since the last board update.

Thanks. I never noticed it. I wonder why they don't put a lock on the threads that were closed by moderators.

Re: The little lock by the thread title

The difference is you can still read the locked threads (and heart posts) whereas the deleted threads are empty. Sometimes  a mod will come back, remove posts and unlock the thread. The one I saw this morning had no comment from the moderator who locked it.

Thanks @kdgn. I wish the moderators would lock threads and not remove them.

@kdgn

I saw that one too and wondered why there was no explanation as to why it was locked?

It was pretty tame compared to many threads that are allowed to remain, IMO.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yes, I wish the mod would give an explanation as to why it was locked.

Re: The little lock by the thread title

I have noticed that some times a mod will lock a thread and forget to put the little "lock" thingy on it. I usually don't find that out until I'm trying to reply on the thread and realize I can't because it's locked.

That must be what just happened to me, I was replying but it wouldn't post!
