He is doing well. He is healing and only his beak and and two talons are a source of concern. The staff said he seems to clearly remember his ordeal. A perch was attached to his carrier and covered ith a foam to protect his sensitive feet. The is black on one side and green on the other. He was afraid when the black side was out but fine when it was the green. The center is planning to build a special mew, enclosure, for him to be able to practice flying. The volunteers are going to build it themselves o keep the cost own.
