I haven't read all the responses yet. But it is very gratifiying to know that she is still alive. Despite all the nasty awful things that were said about her parents and her condition.

I just can't believe that an agency existing to protect children cannot at least check on this girl to see if she is suffering.
I watched a woman waste away on a ventilator for one week after she had a stroke during a procedure and was declared brain dead, and even in that short time, she became unrecognizable from fluid accumulation and such.
Jahi is legally dead and a death certificate has been issued. CPS has no standing.
Sorry to disappoint but she is not dead.

For all intents and purposes she is dead. She has no brain function. She is unable to talk and walk or to eat. What kind of life does she have?

Grieving and refusing to face reality are two separate things.
Have you read anything about grieving? Denial IS A PART OF GRIEF!

How do you know that?

technically if one is brain dead then he/she is dead...biologically...her body is kept alive not by her own volition. For theologins (sp? too late), etc. is she dead????

When this was a hot thread weeks ago. There were those who insisted she was nothing more than a rotting corpse.
Guess not.
