Nothing I have ever read about coconut oil suggests that it's a healthful fat to consume, no matter what type of diet we follow
Apparently, high-tech companies are engineering new concoctions for those true restrictive-diet believers.--all with healthy profits in mind,.
I wonder how that coffee tastes, when it blended with butter and coconut oil.
The photo of it in this morning's Atlanta newspaper almost made me sick.
The thought of having my coffee blended and sold by folks who used to run a cleaning products company ruins one of my favorite drinks

Isn't this what they call "bulletproof coffee"?
That's been around for more than a few years. Always sounded disgusting to me.

If it has been around for a long time, I'm glad I was living under a rock and didn't know it.
Sometimes the search for new food and beverage products goes a little too far for some of us.

Bullet Proof coffee is nothing new in Keto circles.

I used to do that as it was supposed to help you burn fat and keep you fuller but it gave me intestinal distress.

I was on a coconut oil kick a couple of years back. I used to try to add it to everything I could, including about a tsp. in my coffee (along with the cream and stevia). Coconut oil was supposed to be such a healthful oil - antibacterial, antifungal, easily assimilated and absorbed by the body, no hydrogenation, ....However I only use it every so often now to cook with. As far as pairing it with butter, sounds like overkill to me.
Paleo/keto is a very acidic diet. Long term effects are questionable - not in terms of weight loss, but as far as health benefits go. Some people swear by all their meat eating, but doesn't appeal to me.

Yeah, been there - done that...

I am not putting oil or butter in my coffee🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

@novamc1 it does not matter one bit that the executive s used to run a cleaning products company. That has nothing to do with the quality of their coffee products. It just means, in this case, that they are smart and know how to run a successful comoany.

If I drank that I will be posting from the bathroom.
