I don't blame Ford, as I would rather have the official report and recommendations. So the bldg. can make the correct repairs, etc.

It looks as though they are going to go out of their way to fix our issues, so I will wait to see what they do and if it is an acceptable outcome for us before I do anything else.

I was beginning to doubt my recollections, but this is one of the posts that I've been remembering. There was another post, I believe (not sure), about someone placing a brick underneath the pipe to divert any water away. Oh, well. Hopefully all will be quickly repaired without any mold issues, etc. Lots of good luck always, Ford. .........Edited to say that, after skimming/scanning the posts, I can't find the post regarding the brick, so I'm thinking that I'm mistaken and/or dreamed it. Sorry.

Management has called me twice looking for the report. I believe I am losing credibility with them.

I sent an email to the mold specialist advising him of this, and that I need the report today.

For those who are interested, I received the full Mold Inspection and Remediation Report this morning. I read it thoroughly and there are five remediation steps that have to be taken. To my relief, there is no dangerous toxic mold in the apartment, but the specialist suggests that a doctor look at the report to verify that what has been found is safe for us because of our autoimmune issues. I'm not sure I know of a doctor who would be interested in doing that, but I will talk with my daughter who may want to show the report to her naturalist doc or her Lyme Specialist.

The report was comprehensive and the remediations reasonable, IMO. I sent the report to management and asked them to review and advise what steps they will take. I am hopeful that they will cooperate and all of this will be over.

Romary, I did mention in one of my posts that maintenance came over, turned a drain pipe toward the back of the property and put a brick under it. After reading the Inspection Report, they may realize that is not adequate.

So happy this is working out for you. I think your daughter's dr would be a good choice to give his or her opinion of the results regarding autoimmune issues. Wishing for the best outcome, you have been through so much!

Thanks, Ford! I'm deliriously happy about the report! I'm guessing that you won't have to temporarily move. It must be a huge relief for you and your daughter! Lots of good luck to you. I'm sure that the plumber will be out there, repairing that pipe, etc. and repairing your shower subfloor and shower floor, etc. Thank goodness for all concerned that it isn't much worse. I'm sure management is relieved, too.
