I am happy to hear there is no harmful mold. I agree with you about a Dr. reading the report. Not sure they would know how if any way it would affect you or your daughter. I would give it a try though. Hope the landlord does all the things necessary to get the problem fixed fast.

BTW my sister told me they are shutting down about 5 Wal-Mart's in a couple of states. She works for Wal Mart but they are not shutting down her store. They say it is a plumbing problem. Hmmmm, I bet they have mold and don't want it known. Usually takes about six months to get rid of it and make it safe to go back in.

Looks like practically the entire Maintenance Dept. will be over here on Wednesday doing the inside and outside work outlined in the remediation report. It will consist of a plumber, a construction contractor to do the inside work, and landscaping workers who will regrade all of the ground around the unit so that the waters will be directed away from the slab and out into the back areas. They will also take a sample of the drywall from behind the master bath tub and shower to make sure it is not contaminated and if it is, they will replace it.

The Manager of the Maintenance Dept. agreed with me that this outcome was fair, and that this is work that should be done. He said there will be no standing water anywhere under the slab or outside of the apartment once they are finished.

We anticipated their cooperation, so my daughters came and we did a lot of unpacking yesterday. Everything is looking good.
