Post #201, regarding, hopefully a mistake, DBDoo's possible fall.

I do recall seeing that now and don't know why I did not respond to it. I try to respond to all posts. Yes, hopefully it is a mistake about a possible fall happening to DBD.{#emotions_dlg.sad}

Hi All! Yes, dooBdoo had a fall. This is her last post on April 4th. I hope she is recovering and feeling better.

Hi, everyone. Well, yesterday didn't work out as I planned. Went to my church early in the a.m. to help with the Good Friday service preparations, fainted, hit my hard head hard, woke up in the ER and was there most of the day. Concussion, stitches, all sorts of tests. Been having some troubling symptoms and already had a doc appointment set up... You know that saying about how life is what happens when you're busy making plans. I have orders to rest so I'm going to miss the remainder of our Holy Week services.

Not up to reading back and seeing everyone's updates, but I wanted to wish you all a blessed weekend.

Hello, I didn't know that DooBDoo (possibly) had a fall. Hope she is fine, and hope it's not true. If anyone here is in touch with her, please give her my good wishes for a very quick and complete recovery. Ford: I'm only guessing that samples do have to be sent back to somewhere else, and that there have to be official reports written/documented. I'm guessing that there are lots of these types of problems with possible mold/mildew/whatever, and people want to make sure. that they are safe. Could be that there isn't any bad mold, at your place, hopefully. We have all been wishing to our lucky stars that all will be well for you, and for DooBDoo, too.

Oh no!! Is that in this thread about DooBDoo? I didn't know she fell, which could be very serious for people our age. I wish we knew more and also hope she is OK. If she's not posting, it's possible she is in the hospital or rehab. I hope not.

I expect a report that will outline what should be done re these test results. I'm not sure I understand them all, but my daughter looked at them and thinks they are minor with the exception of the standing water under the slab. I can't just send these tests to the landlord, I need a report from him as to what should be done.

The specialist just contacted me and said I would receive his remediation report "late tonight" (which probably means tomorrow).

Maybe this is almost over.

Ford this sounds very encouraging! At least it isn't black mold. Now you can unpack and rest easy. Smile

Thanks, SR. This is not good news. DooBDoo, please get better soon.

I didn't see any red on the report, so I'm assuming that is so. I still want to read his layman's explanation of what it is and what has to be done.

Ford, I hope you come out ok on the mold report. Did you catch the Suzanne Somers video today on Cancer. If you get a chance watch it. She was diagnosed with it (cancer) many years ago and beat it. She was again diagnosed with it again 6 yrs. ago and it ended up being not cancer...but mold! The video was on my Comcast homepage. Thought you might be interested in how it all came about.

I'm not fond of her, but I will check it out for the content. Thanks jubilant.

You're welcome, Ford. I don't follow Suzanne Somers much myself but have been looking into Bioidenticals as a treatment for a Thyroid problem my doctor says I have. I heard her talk about them years ago on HSN. When I heard her "cancer" had come back it peaked my interest. Little did I ever think of mold. I see them find it a lot in homes when I watch Home Shopping Channel....even newer homes.

I'm not the one with Lyme, it is my daughter. I don't think she has a hygienist.
