Agreed.

All couples argue.

Some just do it louder than others.

It doesn't necessarily mean that they are bad people.

Exactly.....that's the same way it is here. It is kind of nice when you open your door and your neighbor across the hall is either coming in or going out, and they speak to you. I definitely know who belongs here and who doesn't.

Re: The guy across the hall?

Would it bother you if your guy offered to help the lady across the hall perhaps without your knowledge? That would bother me a little. It would be different if they both said it but it was just him.

Re: The guy across the hall?

Maybe he's just being a nice guy, letting you know he'd be happy to help if you needed it.

I always fall on the side of being careful, though.

It would depend on the kind of "help".

When I come back from the grocery store, I've had my (male) next door neighbor offer to help me carry my groceries in.

If my guy did that, no, I would not be bothered.

It's called being gentlemanly.

Maybe she knows that he's a nice guy, who will go out of his way to help others.

It's sad that women are scared of their own shadows today.

Afraid to speak up for themselves at the hair salon, when they don't like the cut/style, or topic of conversation, for fear of "upsetting the stylist".

Afraid of even saying "hi" to our neighbors, and getting to know them.

Then they complain about how in the "old" days, everybody knew everybody.

Hello!

That's because they took the time to get to know everybody.

I wouldn't read that much into it. Maybe he'll ask you to pick up their mail when they go on vacation. Some people are just more outgoing.

I think because a lot of medical people come to our house for my mom. He can hear them because the walls are so thin.

I don't know him I just say hi if I see him just to be polite.Yet I know there is or was a lady over there. Why would a man ask to help another woman when he has a lady already? They were fighting last night (not about me) Am I supposed to be the replacement lol ugh....

Are you saying the lady lived there .... or was there frequently, as a girlfriend would be? {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

Give the guy the benefit of the doubt .... his mother may have raised him to be a good neighbor, and there's nothing wrong with that. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
