Re: The end of Bill and Melinda Gates' marriage

Until this story broke I had great respect for Bill Gates. He was a brilliant businessman who became a billionaire. He unselfishly donated most of his wealth to the betterment of the world. Through his foundation he accomplished things that bureaucracy never could.I so admired him & Melissa.

Now I have no use for the man.All the good he's done IMO is overshadowed by the disrespect he's shown his wife & children.

I haven't read all the posts, credible sources report Bill Gates met with Jeffrey Epstein in Palm Bch and NYC numerous times after Epstein was a convicted sex offender.  That's all I need to know.

Who are the credible sources?

@NicksmomESQ   He's a fallible human being like the rest of us.   I still have respect for the good he and Melinda have done.   No marriage is perfect.   I refuse to judge someone else's marriage because none of us knows nor should we know.   The world would be a better place if we all tend to our own knitting when it comes to our personal lives and not judge other people based on how we live ours.

I don't understand all of the interest in this story. People should focus on their own lives. None of us will ever know what goes on in some one else's marriage, nor should we.

People are cheaters in marriages. It's just a matter of how much each party will put up with and for how long. Some can take it to their graves together while others end it when it starts. Some will hang on for a while then end it. I was marrired and divorced X3. They were all cheaters and I wouldn't allow any of it period...no second chances.

That would have been a very bad feeling about men. I think many men cheat , some get away with it ,some do not.

I personally don't care about other people's personal lives especially the rich and famous and I also don't believe everything written by gossip rags about people.   Nobody knows what goes on in people's lives nor should we.   It's none of our business.

No marriage is perfect.  I also found the thread on Prince Harry to be over the top with ridiculous gossip - especially using Sean Hannity as a source.

this place is toxic

@Teddixat  You "don't care" but you are reading  this thread here and posting on it.  😄

@Free2be    Thank you.   I agree.  Who are we to judge them.   They are human beings no matter how much money they have - at least they have done a lot of good in their lives.   This place is beyond toxic with the gossip

@Teddixat  Your posts are certainly  adding to the toxicity.

Re: The end of Bill and Melinda Gates' marriage

@NYCLatinaMe    would you turn away a Billionaire's advances? Most  single women probably would not...( maybe even a few married women!) no  matter how unattractive he might be.  The thought of living THAT LIFESTYLE or be given pretty nice gifts that you might live a comfortable life might change the mindset of even the most stanch strong headed   working woman .

Of course you do not have to answer this. Woman Happy
