The devastation around me is so horrible

that it doesn't seem real. NE PA has been hit by the worse flooding since 72. I wasn't born yet, but my neighbor went through the 72 flood and said this is worse.

My husband and I live far enough away and at an elevation where we were not flooded and still have power. My sisters aren't so lucky. Both of their homes have severe damage. My oldest sisters' home has water almost to the ceiling in the first floor!

The most important thing is they and their families are safe. We are blessed to have a large home, so when we can get to them, we will bring them here. Both of their cells have died, so I can't even talk to them.

I'm the little sister and they have always taken such good care of me. It's my turn to step up. I just want them here!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you affected by flooding. If you are in PA and can help at a shelter, please do. It's all so sad. Kali
