At a Glance purse-sized calendar. I keep them too. Recently, I went back to find out when my last colonoscopy was. I pulled out the two I thought were the candidates. As I looked through I wasn't finding it, but then I saw a Doctor's name that wasn't one of my regular doctors. Must be him. But, I didn't see Colonoscopy listed anywhere after him. Then, I noticed the abbrev. of the local hospital and a time to be there.
Never would I ever have found that trying to search a calender in a digital format.

I like this version because I can see the whole month on two pages, then turn the page and be able to fill in details for each day.
oh that's nice! Do you carry it with you or leave it at home? Tend to agree about trusting the phone- what if it gets lost or stolen?

@smoochy That's why I like the purse size calendar. I can easily carry it with me and reference it when I am going some place where I know I will be booking a subsequent appt., e.g. medical office, beauty salon, etc. or making future social plans. In that way I also do not need to keep track of the little appt. cards given out by some medical and business places. I just jot the appt. in the book on the spot and turn down any offers for an appt. card.

I buy a Linda Nelson Stocks spiral bound yearly calendar that sits on a table by the door to our garage. Everything goes in it and we could not function without our weekly views. I don't use my cell phone much as I prefer to look at a calendar. We call this calendar and table our "Communications Central". If my husband asks me a question I tell him to look at our Communications Central!

I have a large calendar on my desk. My husband buys me a new one every Christmas.

I purchase a large grid calendar every year. They are great for lots of notes, activities and appointments. I hang it on my fridge, which is the first thing I get into every morning. There's no way I can miss reviewing it, since it's right in my face.
I tend to remember important notes on my calendar more than on my phone. So, I'm happier going old school on paper. I also like to journal thoughts and events. That's pen to paper, too.

@smoochy - It's with me most of the time, but if I go away for a workshop or training I usually leave it home.
I have a purse-sized Lang calendar with lines that I carry to tell me what days are scheduled. It doesn't have enough room to write where I'm going and what materials and/or books I will need, but I can just write down the basics so I know I can't schedule anything else that day.
But I rely on the first one. It has a pocket in the back. I keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, etc. And I am very detailed. If someone asks me where I ate when I was on a retreat last year in a city they are going to, I can tell them!

I find print a calendar dot com to be best for me.
I can print out year at a glance for a few places in the house, and also record all appts online. I really like a roomy month at a glance so I can see what's coming up.

I use Google Calendar on my desktop and my phone. Our clients have access to the business side of our Google calendar online. They request an invite and when I accept it, they have access to SEE the calendar online, not make changes to it. I also keep our Family entries on the same Goolge calendar but our clients can't see those entries. Business entries show up in red and family is purple. But, we don't need a business calendar after this month. It's official. DH called his main client and told her he was retiring at the end of the year
He said she took it very well and said some things to him that I know had to make him feel 10 ft tall. What you put out into the world will always come back for you. Now, the question is, will he take on my schedule (it's to not have one) or will I be forced to take on his? I prefer not to talk before noon lol
