I stepped on a hot drill cord and burned my foot. I had some big blisters and feet were tough from being barefoot all summer. I could walk on hot tarred roads and never flinch.

Like others have mentioned.......  I have stepped on a rusty nail, a shard of glass, and Portuguese Man o' War, (actually many of these.....Men o' War then, LOL) but what really hurts if you step on it just right was a piece of my children's Lego play set.  Ouch!

A dead mouse in the yard when I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking..

Fire ants.  Had welts for several days.

At around age 10, I stepped on the bottom of a broken coke bottle hidden in some ivy. I thought i'd stepped on a snake as it went numb in the arch of my foot,

It's still an issue to this very day.

A thorny prickly plant that  as a result left a small thorn in my foot that was hard to remove.

A sewing needle and it broke off in my foot!  I had to hop around until my Dad could dig it out as I was a crying mess when I was in my early teens.   I was much more careful with my sewing box after that....and still am.

Cat barf. They always seem to know just where to barf so it will have the greatest effect.
