ITA. An "electronic/battery operated device" sounds whole lot better than a pharmaceutical item, maybe even faster and better than a flesh and blood man for that matter.

Can you imagine a man on Viagra and a woman on this pill? Holy moly!

Both will have a heart attack. (smile)
As a person who has had a heart attack, I find your (smile) offensive.

The pill is for women who don't get aroused one way or another, whether it's by human contact or device. It's their decision, I doubt many will talk to their doctor about trying it unless they're interested. I suppose supply and demand has a lot to do with it, but whose demand? Hers or his?
Sounds too iffy at this point

This pill is NOT the female equivalent of Viagra. It's meant for a very small number of women who have a brain chemistry problem that prevents arousal or any "romantic" feelings. It's also only intended for pre-menopausal women who have been diagnosed with that condition. The cost is $400-$500 a month and right now, insurance doesn't cover it. So, post menopausal women who just want to put more "zip" into their lovemaking won't be able to get this drug.

This is for younger women who are still in their child bearing years who for some reason develop a DISORDER in their brain that takes away their desire for sex or their ability to enjoy it.
half right. It's meant for pre-menopausal women with a brain seratonin problem that prevents arousal. It's not about hormones and it's not just for young women. A woman need only be pre-menopausal with the required condition to receive the medication. There are women in their early 50's who are pre-menopausal.

I'm going to have to completely disagree that an inanimate object is better than a real live man.

Most women don't need a pill. They just need a caring & sensitive lover who knows what buttons to push. You know what I mean.

*Clinical trials only included pre-menopasal women, so if you are going through menopause or are post-menopausal, you are not a candidate for this drug.
*The drug is, put very simplistically, an anti-depressant (read the abstract and see what part of the brain they are targeting and the chemcial breakdown of the drug itself)
*Low-blood pressure, fainting, NOT to be mixed with alcohol, taken every night...this is not a one and done pill like Viagra. Far from it.
Will be interesting to see how well it sells.....
