Cats wouldn't be caught dead being a pet. They're Masters of the weaker mankind.

Mine definitely thinks he owns me, but I have an evil plan to get even with him. I'm getting a kitten. Not just any kitten, a kitten who is afraid of nothing and takes no prisoners! He even torments my son's dog and he's only four weeks old!
Tucker, prepare to defend yourself against the Crabman!

“Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them's making a poop, the other one's carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge.”
Jerry Seinfeld
I LOVE that
My schnoodle I swear has a 3rd component to his mixed breed. There is definitely a cat in there someplace. He behaves just like a cat.

I'm a straw boss for sure!

When I had miniature poodles, they were so smart I thought it wouldn't surprise me if they sat up and spoke to me in English!
However, cats are so smart in such a different way! They do what they want, when they want, where they want, and how they want, and they know you're probably not going to do a darn thing about it!
I had a little black female that weighed about 8 pounds, and she put my son's dog (weighing in at 60 pounds) into a corner and wouldn't let him out! Until she was ready, of course!

Yep, it's their house and they just let you live there...out of the kindness of their hearts, of course.
It also helps that you have a thumb to open the cat food cans.
