The Thorn Birds w/Richard Chamberlain ~ Remember This Series/Movie?

came across this on Netflix and decided to order these discs. loved the first one, and can't wait to see the next/last one. at the time, and now too, i still think it is very romantic, despite the contraversial subject.

anyone else liked it too? He is 77 now - has lived with his partner for several decades in Hawaii, but temporarily left him there for work opportunities in L.A. (he only came out when nearing 70.)
